Viewing All Teams and All Contributors

LinearB draws a distinction between Team Members and Contributors:

• Team Members have been added to a LinearB team
• Contributors are any person who's ever committed code to your tracked repos

For example, if your company has an open source project that allows for outside contributions, you might be interested in the work your Team Members contribute to it, but be less interested in metrics associated with non-Team Contributors, since they don't work at your company. Or, if you've rolled LinearB out to one department of developers but not another, you'd be interested in the target department's work: they would be tracked as Team Members while their peers in another department would be Contributors for tracked repos.

All Contributors Dashboard

All accounts (free or paid) have access to the All Contributors filter for their DORA dashboard. This will show the core DORA metrics for any contributor on a tracked repo. To access this, go to your Dashboards page, and select All Contributors from the drop down. You will see a dashboard showing all DORA metrics for your repos for the last 90 days, including all Contributor activity:

All Teams Dashboard

If you're on a plan that supports Teams, you can view all Team Member activity by going to the Home dashboard page and selecting All Teams from the drop-down menu. This will show metrics associated only with work done by developers that you've added to a Team in LinearB. No need to add the developers to a parent team: we'll roll everybody in any team up into a single All Teams view automatically.

Just like the dashboards for any individual team, you can customize what displays on this dashboard—highlight the most useful pieces of info and you'll have access to them at a glance.

All Contributors/All Teams Metrics

The same All Contributors/All Teams model is used on the Metrics page. Filter to the appropriate group to see either all users you've added to Teams or all Contributors for your tracked repos. Our Free DORA metrics will be available for all Contributors. For more in-depth metrics, add users to a paid Team.
