WorkerB for Microsoft Teams

WorkerB alerts are now available in MS Teams. The Teams WorkerB app is available to each contributor of your org’s Git. Once connected, team members can receive LinearB personal alerts in real-time, and also use commands to review pull requests and review data.

WorkerB for Microsoft Teams

WorkerB alerts are now availble in MS Teams. The Teams WorkerB app is available to each contributor (Team member) of your org’s Git.

Once the app is installed and the user connects the WorkerB app to your Teams user account, you will enjoy the following :

  1. Team alerts.
  2. LinearB personal alerts in real-time.
  3. Use commands to review pull requests and review data.

What personal alerts will I receive?

Individual users can receive direct messages about their active reviews, as well as use commands to see their most recent reviews, updates, and more. You can read more about installing and using WorkerB direct alerts here: Connecting WorkerB for MS Teams Individual Users

Pull Request Reviewer

An alert for when you are assigned a pull request or are assigned as a reviewer.

Pull Request Change Request / Comments

An alert is sent when comments are added or a change is requested to your pull request.

Pull Request Approvals

An alert is sent when your pull request is approved 🎉

CI Checks Passed

If one or a set of CI checks that are performed by your CI tool and reported back to your Git provider are completed successfully.

CI Checks Failed

If one of your CI checks performed by your CI tool and reported back to your Git provider fails, LinearB informs you in real-time about the failed checks and includes a link to the failed checks for you to review.

What team alerts will we receive?

Teams can receive updates about potential bottlenecks or quality issues from the repos on which your team is working. You can read more about installing and using WorkerB direct alerts here: Connecting WorkerB to an MS Teams channel

Work at risk

Now, users can customize the pull request size from above 20 lines to above 200 lines. You can also monitor for pull requests that are reworking or refactoring over a certain percent of a branches code.

Pull Request merged without review

Receive a notification when a pull request with a set number of changes is merged without review. You can set this as low as 0, and as high as 50 code changes.

Merged with basic review

Listen for pull requests that are merged with a very short review time.

Review request hanging

Catch pull requests that haven't been picked up! You can set the alert as short as 1/2 of a day, or as long as 6 days.

Long review

Receive an alert when a review is taking too long. Can be configured between 0.5 days and 6 days.

Daily Digest

Get notified daily about issues that have a large number of code changes, stuck work, and highly commented pull requests. You can designate what time of day this daily alert is sent by clicking on the General tab and setting a time for your daily meeting.
