Step 1 – Log in to Shortcut
- Open a web browser and navigate to Shortcut.
- Sign in using your account credentials.
Step 2 – Access API token settings
- Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to the API Tokens section.
Step 3 – Generate an API token
- Click Create New API Token.
- Enter a descriptive name (for example, LinearB Integration).
- Click Generate Token.
- Copy the API token and store it securely. The token will not be visible again.
Step 4 – Connect Shortcut to LinearB
- Log in to LinearB.
- Navigate to Company Settings > Project Management.
- Click Connect next to Shortcut.
- Paste your Shortcut API Token into the field.
- Click Connect to complete the setup.
After the connection succeeds, LinearB begins syncing Shortcut project data for tracking, analytics, and Iterations insights.
