Definition
The Active Days Metric is the total number on which individual contributors or team members performed any Git-related activity. This includes:
- Committing code
- Opening a pull request (PR)
- Reviewing a PR
- Merging a PR
Each unique day in which at least one of these actions occurs is counted as an Active Day for the contributor or team.
Why is This Metric Useful?
- Reflects consistent team engagement and productivity.
Calculation
- The number of unique days with recorded activity.
